Children aged 6-9 are warmly welcomed into Wessex Warriors.
This program is not only their first start in World Taekwondo but will also be their first steps into the Olympic Sport as we have already found that starting out in the sport at a young age can give great success in the future. Our Wessex Warriors program is a detailed curriculum to help your child develop motor skills, listening skills and a foundation for success in school.
At Wessex Taekwondo Association we use the lessons of Taekwondo to help teach your child to set goals, work in a disciplined manner, and strive for success in their endeavours. A hearty Taekwondo education instils equal doses of confidence and humility. It teaches children to treat others with respect, but also to stand up for themselves and what they believe in. At Wessex Taekwondo Association, by teaching your child to succeed in Taekwondo, we better prepare them for all the challenges they will face in life.

Grading

The grading for the Little Leaders consists of testing the students knowledge and grasp of the themes that they have been taught through the current quarter. It is designed to make the child feel achievement, and parents will be amazed at just what we their Children can achieve!
New students begin at white belt and advance through to their Little Leaders Black Belt.
When the child has taken part in the curriculum they are entered for their next belt, where they follow basic instructions... Its fun and gives the children the foundation to...
